Performer 8 gets a pass from us, even though it is not the best male enhancement supplement that we've reviewed (that product is Prime Male, which we compare to Performer 8 later in this review).
Performer 8's strength lies in its ability to help a man get and keep an erection. The creation and maintenance of an erection depend on healthy blood flow. The brain instructs the penis to increase blood flow to the corpora cavernosa, the two chambers of spongy tissue that fill with blood when a man is sexually aroused. In men with ED, this process is hampered, preventing enough blood from reaching the penis and making it difficult to get or keep an erection. Performer 8 increases blood supply to the penis, causing a harder and longer-lasting erection.
Based on user reviews and friends' experiences, it appears that Performer 8 is not as effective at boosting libido as some competitors. I haven't taken the product myself as I don't have this particular problem, but a good friend has been using it for about 6 months. This guy's erections were noticeably improved (I took his word for it!), but there was really no change in his sexual desire.
