Who should sign up for this Program?
This program is ideal for all health-conscious individuals who are seeking a comprehensive approach to losing weight while improving their overall fitness - especially those wanting to shed those Holiday pounds! It is suitable for all age groups, genders, physical conditions, locations, and access to equipment.
What is the goal of the Program?
This program is designed to help you start the new year on the right track with your total health and fitness! For the next month, you’re going to get a complete overhaul as this program will address and cover multiple areas of your fitness. In total, this program will deliver: A resistance training program with resistance training and conditioning Easy to follow nutrition guidelines Daily walking plan Guidance on keeping a food journal Sleep recommendations Hydration Accountability! The cool thing is that you’re not going to work through this program alone. Rather, you’ll be completing this program with an entire group! As everyone will run the same program together, it will help build a community for motivation while also providing accountability. Plus, we hope you can help others by offering any advice or tips that you have found useful along the way. We all have various issues and having a community to discuss them is a great way to provide and find useful tips! At the same time, the program will be overseen by SFS qualified coaches who will help address any nuance and help with any personalization that’s needed. In addition, they will be giving weekly workshops that will address specific areas of fitness while also allowing for Q&A – it’s kind-of like having a personal trainer while not paying the price!
What is the key to losing weight?
The key to losing weight in a healthy way is to have a balanced approach spanning physical training, nutrition and diet, and relaxation. These components work in conjunction with each other to provide you the best results, which you will see with our Program. The training part of the Program focuses on a schedule of gym workouts, conditioning days, rest and recovery days, and walking routines. These can be performed at the gym, or at home, with alternatives provided for individuals with differing access to equipment. Nutrition is an important and often overlooked element of physical fitness and healthy weight loss. Drastic measures rarely lead to sustainable weight loss, compared to more balanced, scientific approaches that this Program outlines. Finally, healthy sleep is paramount for recovery and rejuvenation of the body and mind. The Program lays out guidelines and tips for healthy sleep patterns.
How much fat can I expect to lose with this Program?
If you follow along the Program as guided by your SFS Training Experts, you can expect a decrease in your body fat percentage by around 5 - 10% in just 30 days.
Will I lose muscle if I cut fat?
Hopefully not. The major goal of this program is to lose fat NOT muscle. SFS Fat Loss focuses on research-backed methods to maintain muscle while cutting fat. This comes down to strategic strength training in addition to eating right and cardio training. It’s even possible to achieve the perfect balance where you lose fat while building muscle at the same time. That said, at a minimum, the aim is to preserve as much muscle mass a possible and this program teaches you and walks you through exactly how.
