Eddie Hall Vs Hafthor Björnsson X-Rated Pre-Fight Interview
Want your perfect workout program?
Take QuizEddie Hall and Hafthor Björnsson had their pre-fight interview face-off, and it didn’t disappoint. The two former World’s Strongest Man winners traded insults throughout the interview, this is NSFW (Not Safe For Work)!
This seems far from a show, as some have suggested; there’s bad blood between the two. Billed as the “Heaviest Fight in History,” Eddie Hall vs. Hafthor Björnsson will go down on March 19th, 2022, at the Dubai Duty-Free stadium in the United Arab Emirates. Don’t miss the recap of this heated profanity-riddled pre-fight interview where the giants faced off across the table from one another.
This fight has been coming for a long time, and this sit-down between the two former strongmen is just a glimpse of what we can expect on Saturday, March 19th, 2022.
The pre-fight interview starts with the two men shaking hands in the only display of sportsmanship that we see in the video. Thor briefly mentions that he shook Hall’s hand back in 2017 when Hall won the WSM title.
Hall immediately calls him "a f*****g fake lying b**ch." Hall is still pissed about Thor smearing his win.
The first question from the interviewer is about when Hall showed up at Thor’s training session, which led to an argument, and eventually, the two had to be separated. The face-off video, which has been removed from the web, showed the two arguing and then spitting at each other.
Thor talks about Hall making excuses prior to the fight about having a chest infection and concussion. Then, the two tell their sides of the story of the run-in a few days ago. Hall once again tries to lure Thor into wagering $1million on the fight, but Thor doesn’t take the bait.
They speak about the build-up to the fight, and that Hall has fully recovered from his biceps injury that forced him to withdraw from the battle. Then Thor talks about gaining some ring experience in his three previous fights.
The next question to the pair is regarding the 2017 WSM that Hall ended up winning after Thor’s Viking Press was disallowed due to technicality. This was when the feud began as Hall couldn’t get over the fact that Thor smeared his big win and disrespected him.
This is the one reason why Hall hates Thor. On the other hand, Thor says, “Hall has been crying like a little b**ch for the past 5 years and that he lives in Hall’s head rent-free."
Hall wants a public apology that Thor isn’t willing to give. Hall says "Thor only won the 2018 WSM title because of his retirement." Thor talks about winning a variety of strongman shows while Hall only one once.
Next up on the docket is the controversy of Hall’s 500kg deadlift vs. Thor’s 501kg deadlift. Hall starts interrogating the legitimacy of Thor’s lift that was done at his home gym while Thor fired back with accusations of Hall conspiring with his business partner to set a fake record.
Lots of allegations flew during this segment, including fake weights, Magnús Ver Magnusson being blackmailed into being the judge, sponsors with foul play, and fake live streaming of the lift.
The two go back and forth, with Thor calling Hall "a fat pig" while Hall retorts, calling Thor an "anorexic dog with AIDS."
The interviewer moves on to asking the two how they’ve prepared for this fight. It’s evident that Hall doesn’t respect Thor’s previous fights. Thor seems confident with his skills and experience at this point. However, they both don’t respect each other’s chances of winning.
The pre-fight interview wraps up with questions about if they can let go of this rivalry. They both say they will move on after the fight, but they won’t end up being friendly. Hall is salty about how he thought Thor treated him, and this weekend they’ll settle their disagreements.
At the end of the interview, each gives a final word about what happens in the fight on Saturday.
Thor said, “I’m going to outbox him; I’m the better boxer. If I want to knock him out, I will, and if I want it to go the distance, it will. He has no chance.”
Hall says, “I’m going to knock you the f**k out; it won’t be left to the referees.”
Hall ends up handing out some Double Dip candies to close out the interview while Thor is saying Hall’s head isn’t in the game.
