Sacramento, California, played host to the 2022 IFBB Pro League/NPC Golden State Pro over the past weekend on April 9th, 2022. The event showcased two Pro divisions, Men’s Physique and Bikini, vying to win a spot at the 2022 Olympia. Let’s look at the results and the day’s big winners in the 2022 Golden State Pro.
2022 IFBB Pro League/NPC Golden State Pro Results & Recap
This contest saw athletes compete across several divisions, including IFBB Pro and NPC divisions. However, we’re here to focus on the divisions that had the most at stake, a chance to qualify for the 2022 Olympia that’s scheduled to take place in December. The 2022 IFBB Golden State Pro resulted in Jason Huynh winning the Men’s Physique division title while Ashley Kaltwasser won the Bikini title.
This year has seen several Olympia qualifier competitions take place around the globe, including the 2022 Arnold Classic and the 2022 Boston Pro. Then we saw some new talent emerge in contests held overseas, including the 2022 Kuwait Classic Pro, Fitworld Pro & Campinas Pro, 2022 Asia Grand Prix Pro, 2022 Thailand Pro, and more.
Let’s look at how the divisions at the IFBB Golden State pro played out below.
Men’s Physique
Men’s physique is always a competitive division, and this event was no different, seeing athletes on stage from across the US and several overseas countries. Jason Huynh of California took home the title at the end of the day. Huynh had an impressive showing and beat out Griffin for the top spot.

Bikini
The Bikini division also had some top talent go at it, but it was 3-time Olympia winner Ashley Kaltwasser who took home the title. Kaltwasser wins so frequently that it’s hard to bet against her taking home 1st in any contest.
